Professor Alex Pitman
Director of Nuclear Medicine (Shepparton)
(MBBS University of Melbourne 1992, FRANZCR 2000, Nuclear Medicine and PET accreditation 2001-2002).
Professor Alex Pitman trained in radiology at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, and in PET and nuclear medicine at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and the Alfred Hospitals.
Following his training Alex served as Staff Specialist at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and the Royal Melbourne Hospital. He subsequently took on the role of Director of Radiology at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Professor/Director of Medical Imaging at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne.
Professor Pitman joined Lake Imaging as a partner and Director of Nuclear Medicine and PET in 2009 where he started Australia’s first rural PET service at St John of God Hospital Ballarat.
In 2016 Professor Pitman joined Keystone Radiology and is the Director of Medical Imaging and Nuclear Medicine at Goulburn Valley Health.
Dr. Lucila Zentner
Radiologist and Nuclear Medicine Physician
Dr Zentner is a dual trained Radiologist and Nuclear Medicine and PET Specialist. She trained in Radiology at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, and Nuclear medicine at both the Royal Melbourne and the Austin Hospitals. Lucila was a Partner in Lake Imaging for 6 years, based at St John of God Hospital in Ballarat before joining Keystone Radiology in 2016.
Dr Zentner is a generalist non-interventional Radiologist with particular interest in solving clinical questions through cross correlation between imaging modalities.
Dr. Reza Garzan
Nuclear Medicine Physician
Dr Garzan completed his basic physician training in Brisbane before relocating to Melbourne where he became qualified as a Nuclear Medicine Physician at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Following this Reza also undertook a fellowship in radionuclide therapy and PET/CT at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, before joining our team in Aug 2015. Dr Garzan has a wide range of interests and skills in the field of Nuclear Medicine, including nuclear cardiology, oncology, endocrinology, musculoskeletal and sports medicine.
Miss Amy Hollow
Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Amy joined our team in 2015 and quickly assumed the role of Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Shepparton Nuclear Medicine, a role which sees her being responsible for delivery of exceptional patient care and technical excellence at our clinic.
Graduating from her studies in Melbourne in 2006, Amy now has over 10 years experience working in Nuclear Medicine with extensive skills in CT SPECT imaging. After completing an internship year in Wangaratta Amy relocated to the Goulburn Valley shortly after, where she now calls Shepparton home.
